Carl was a quiet man with a beautiful soul. As children we were always together at family events as there was only months between us in age, even then he was a bit of a joker and would often play tricks on me, like the day that he visited us on one occasion with the rest of the family as would often happen and he thought it was a good idea to play hide and seek with me by locking me in an old army suitcase then going downstairs to join the rest of the family. It was only when my Mam asked about a hour later where I was that Carl decided to tell her , when I was realised from my suitcase he looked at me as I was sweating crying and most probably turning blue he turned around and said " I win".. Another time we were in Nanny & Granchie Davies's house when he decided to go fishing off the top of the landing with the line and hook dangling down the stairs, guess who's nostril he hooked? Yep me again. Carl had a very dry sense of humour to say the least as well as being a practical joker especially with me as a child but I loved the very bones of him. A special soul and a beautiful man all round. I'll miss you Cuz, until we meet again. X
