Uncle Carl, was a huge part of my childhood. The memories are endless - from being his bridesmaid, river walks with Ben, family Sunday afternoon teas, popping in the De and the Wingfield for a pineapple juice, scampi fries, pool, and money for the juke box. Mint sauce sitting on the table at nan's - waiting for him to eat his roast after an afternoon nap (and then letting me eat off his plate!). Looking after nan so well. School holiday trips to West Wales, teaching me how to serve in the post office, chinese takeaways, introducing me to his huge taste in music and teaching me how to play a vinyl - oh so carefully! Then there were the teenage visits - full of fun, as he turned a blind eye to some of the things the folks maybe wouldn't have. He had such an incredible impact on me and he was and always will be my amazing Uncle Carl! X
